About Sailing Weather Online
This website was founded in 2000 mainly as a convenient way to access weather sources
that we use ourselves regularly. It was soon discovered however by thousands of sailors
on both sides of the Atlantic.
We used the occasion of our 10th anniversary for a
major update both in layout and content.
This new website does not only reflects
our own ideas about useful weather information but also the many suggestions we got
from various users.
Our team has a long time experience with consultancy, routing,
education and creating publications about almost everything where weather and sailing
meet. It is a subject that constantly develops, as well as meteorological aspects,
communications and equipment on board. Fortunately, as active sailors we can enlarge
our knowledge and test our views frequently in real sailing life.
